The Mayor Bellamy Community Space

The Mayor Bellamy Community Space is available for event and co-working reservations!

A community space that can host up to 81 people for an event or company co-working is available for rental. The space includes access to audio-visual equipment and a classroom-style setup that can be altered upon request. To make a reservation please reach out to us at info@eaglemarketsts.org and wait up to 48 hours for a response regarding your reservation.

Community Equity Fund

The Community Equity Fund is a program that supports disenfranchised business-owners through injections of capital and access to our “Next Level Business Advisory” services. These funds are distributed on a rolling basis and are repaid through increments of business revenue after a 24-month repayment deferral. The CEF is best able to support businesses primarily owned by marginalized individuals that have been in business for 3 years or more in Asheville, NC and surrounding area. The fund aims to work with entrepreneurs who want to scale their business by utilizing nontraditional capital. Funds may be used for business operations leading to job creation or to gain market shares that will lead to an increase in jobs created.

Community Benefit Partner

The Community Benefit Partner Fiscal Sponsorship Program provides an option for grassroots organizations, early stage 501(c)(3’s), and some “for profit” organizations protection for soliciting. For profit entities may receive sponsorship where their mission, Corporate Social Responsibility activities are aligned with EMS’s mission, vision, and core values.

The sole purpose of this program is to make it possible for those who have a desire to raise funds for charitable-work but do not have 501(c)(3) status, to do so.

Catawba Vale Collaborative

The Catawba Vale Collaborative (CVC) is a collaborative economic development effort focused on the sustainable and equitable growth and prosperity of rural America. Rooted in a novel process that is centered on community feedback and engagement, the CVC aims to take a holistic approach to community growth that prioritizes inclusivity and restorative innovation through recreation and outdoor activities.

The mission of the CVC is to drive equitable community development through sustainable strategies that utilize public land and encourage outdoor recreation.

The first project through the CVC is our innovation Hub in Old Fort, NC. This project remains open while under development and will be a mixed-use  commercial facility, featuring a state of the art film studio, commissary kitchen, meeting space and a manufacturing facility. This community space currently offers a coffee shop, co-working space and serves as a pay agent for Duke Energy customers.
